This is not just a job for us, it is also our passion, our hobby and our life as well. We understand that Mother Nature determines when procedures must be done and this means holidays and weekends. There is Technicians on call every weekend and every holiday for your time sensitive breeding needs.
We take this very “Siriusly“. We treat every case as if it is our own dog that we are making the decision and recommendation for. We will always advise you based on your best chances for success and for optimum health of your dog. We spend hours counseling each client and answering questions. This is all interactive, we want you involved! We want your input and we want you to be involved in every step. We do not remove your dog from you for procedures, we have you right there for all of it. We feel this calms the dog and it better gives you a chance to fully understand all that is involved.
We think outside the box. Due to the high volume and numbers of cases we work with every year, we have a large pool of knowledge and personal experience to draw from when making decisions and recommendations for your dog. Most likely we have dealt with unusual scenarios before dealing with yours, we have knowledge of what works and what does not in most cases.
We have something to lose. Our reputation is very important to us. Customer service is our number one priority. We want happy customers. We do not cut corners! Our service and the equipment we work is all is all top notch. We continue to add to our lab equipment, our concept has always been to stay on the cutting edge of technology in the field of Canine Reproduction. We bring services to our clients that are not available elsewhere due to high tech equipment we work with. Ask for a tour or showing of our equipment, we love to show it off!! We are always on the lookout for new “toys” to bring in so we can offer you, the breeder, new services. We are licensed thru the California Veterinary Medical Board as well as the State of California. We have been inspected and approved by the American Kennel Club. We are insured against act of nature loss and are looking into offering insurance to each client for their semen samples that are stored with us.
We stay current on our education. Our technical staff attends Educational Seminars throughout the year to stay as current as technology allows. Every year, we also attend the Canine Theriogenology Symposium. This symposium is a 2 or 3 day intensive educational seminar and also gives us a chance to share experiences with other Veterinarians and staff in this field as well as gives us the opportunity to see what the newest technology and equipment is available.
We stick to what we know and are great at. We keep our services limited to exactly what we know best! We do not try to compete with other veterinarians for other veterinary services, we stick to Canine Reproduction and Reproduction is all we do! Even within our own field, we limit what we do. If your bitch needs a surgical implant, we have skilled veterinarians who we refer to for your implant. They are fully staffed and prepared for surgery. We will do your progesterone timing and workups, along with any special semen work you need and will refer to them for the surgery itself. These are vets that do thousands of these procedures, and we are comfortable with their skill level. If your Stud dog needs a workup that we do not feel would benefit from the Eastern medicine approach, we will refer you to Veterinary Specialists that will round off the treatment protocol with Western Medicine. There are some cases which require more of a Western workup and we have a few experts we will refer you to.
Sirius for Exporting Services? We have done THOUSANDS of Canine semen exports all over the world. We know the ins and outs of how to properly send semen and how to clear it thru customs. We have developed great working relationships over the years with facilities in these other countries that we work with to ensure your shipment goes as smoothly as possible. We use special shipping tanks that will hold a freeze longer than traditional shipping tanks so we are not worried about your semen thawing in transit. We keep you in the loop as we go thru the process so you can spend your time doing other things, rather than be concerned about your shipment. We keep it easy and walk you thru every step, minimalizing your time spent on this as well. This is truly our specialty and we are happy to help you on this path.
